The night shift is growing. As of this week, we are accepting applications for six roles we have never filled before.

  • A frustratingly present black cat
  • A vampire capable of only a mild glamour
  • A pegasus, for a mythical haunt
  • An invisible skateboarder
  • An old sea captain who has seen things he cannot explain, but will try, slowly and captivatingly
  • Monsters under the bed, for customers with lodging vacancies (six openings)

How to apply

Read the full descriptions on the Careers page. Include a note about yourself and, if you cannot be seen, a description of yourself anyway.

A note on hiring

We hire on judgment, discretion, and the ability to write down what happened. A loud presence has its uses. It does not excuse a careless record.

Corrections. An earlier version of this article listed the pegasus’s compensation as “premium oats.” The pegasus has asked for the oats to be described as ethically sourced. Done.

Every intruder runs off empty-handed, or the night is free.
